Kratki sadržaj:
Kromosomska osnova naslijeđivanja - mitoza i mejoza. Kromosomske aberacije - promjene broja kromosoma i promjene strukture kromosoma.
Biljni testovi u citotoksikologiji; Allium test: makroskopske promjene - inhibicija produženog rasta korijena - toksičnost; mikroskopske promjene u meristemskim stanicama korijenčića - mitotska aktivnost - citotoksičnost; kromosomske aberacije - klastogeni učinak; mitotske nepravilnosti. Imunofluorescencijska detekcija citoskeletnih struktura neophodnih za diobu biljnih stanica (mikrotubuli).
Mikronukleus test - utvrđivanje klastogenog i/ili aneugenog učinka. Fluorescencijske metode za detekciju kinetohora u mikronukleusu.
"SCE's" metoda (izmjena sestrinskih kromatida) - vrlo osjetljiva citološka metoda za utvrđivanje mutagenog učinka.
Tradescantia mikronukleus test - kratki test za genetičku procjenu karcinogenog potencijala kemikalija u okolišu.
Lemna test - kao pokazatelji toksičnosti najčešće se prati prirast biljaka (određivanjem svježe i suhe tvari, određivanjem ukupne površine biljaka), koncentracija fotosintetskih pigmenata i količina proteina.
